Easter Sunday

Hope you have all had a lovely Easter Sunday and over-indulged on the chocolate side of things too.

Chocolate eggs are relatively a new thing to celebrate Easter with the more common eggs being served were paste eggs or hard boiled eggs that were gaily decorated.

Or if you were really well off a Faberge egg.

The egg the symbol of birth of regrowth - the period that the farmer used to look forward too as the more animals the future of the farm was ensured and his family fed.

One of the best presents I could ever receive would be to have some eggs to incubate and then bring on into little chicks. I would love my own chickens

Heres to a lovely weekend whether you have religious beliefs or follow your own path is not the important bit it is the celebration of life that Easter is and if applicable the following of traditions - we all make our own traditions at the end of the day and they are ours to make and follow if we wish - or not to as we all have free will

Enjoy

xx
