Another Preserving book

Most of you will realise by now that I am a bit passionate about food, and preserving and that I have a stash of very useful preserve books.  Many are second hand and some from the States.  Wherever possible I pay the cheapest price possible.

I have a little book (this is my second version of it as the first one fell to pieces) from the Hamlyn Kitchen Library called "Home Preserving and Bottling" by Gladys Mann.    ISBN 0 600 37177 8. There are quite a few different recipes within this unassuming little paperback book, but it is so useful and one that I have to hand throughout the preserving season.  Mine cost a couple of pennies plus postage from one of the cheapy bookshops.  So it is well worth investing in the same.

Catch you soon.

  1. Sounds like a great book to refer to time and time again, and glad you were able to find another copy of it.
